I finally mucked up the courage to email several photographers and models, asking permission to post their images (being the shy person that I am, this was a monumental achievement). I am ecstatic that so many have returned my inquiries and have given the go ahead.
Case in point: I just received an email from Bell Soto. Take the time to visit Bell's site. You'll be blown away. I can now post his phenomenal shot of Dan Felton, so enjoy (as if I really have to say that). As before, I'll archive all Photo Finds on tumblr to you can ogle to your heart's content.

I'm so glad you went to the photographers for permission for these! I'm too shy to ever do something like that--it takes all my nerve to hit the send button on a submission to a publisher. How wonderful to see such great images! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm shy too! My first attempt was the model Samuel Trepanier. I *never* expected a reply, but he wrote back a few days later and said yes. It gave me the confidence to ask others.
