Hey, all.
The story's going to be delayed a little bit. We just got news that my father-in-law has prostate cancer. Very early stages, which makes it much easier to bear, but he's going out to California for treatment, so we'll need to get everything squared away. And a few days ago, my mother-in-law broke her ankle. It's been hard for my husband, who's an only child, since his parents have never been sick before. He's not quite sure how to be a care-giver.
Writing is a stress relief though, as I'm sure you all know. Some days it's all I want to do.
The desire to write is inversely proportional to the time you have available to do it. :( Sounds like you have more than enough other things that deserve your full attention. Family comes first and when your loved ones need you, of course you must give them all you can. The writing will always be there for you. My prayers to your in-laws and husband, and you also, for all they are going through.
ReplyDeleteWow, your life sounds stressful. Yes, take the time you need because it sounds like your in-laws need some TLC, and if it all falls on your hubby, he definitely will.
